Workshop Description:
A key part to achieving success in our classrooms is behavior management. With the number of tasks that we need to accomplish, behavior management can be very taxing. At times, we unintentionally neglect this part and it becomes a blind spot. Where there is a blindspot, there is weakness. But what if we can turn this blindspot to a source of strength, a brightspot?
This is an interactive workshop where we will learn effective ways to turn behavioral difficulties into assets. We will have group discussions and collaborative activities to decipher what leads to successful behavioral development of our students.
Learning Outcomes:
Intended audience are teachers who handle elementary, middle and high school students (Khmer and International)
Develop a deeper understanding of behavioral expectations.
Design positive classroom practices to address student behavioral issues.
Discover the transformative power of teaching with a heart.

I wear many hats, teacher, counselor, advocate and learner.
I started my advocacy for inclusive education in 2019 when a SPED teacher reached out for help for his students. My prior experiences in teaching and counseling made sense after that, to be in service of students with special educational needs is the embodiment of service with unconditional positive regard.
