We will be making simple games using JavaScript and P5.js
If you expect to make the next GTA then you'll be disappointed. The documentary at the bottom of this page by Charlie Booker (of 'Black Mirror' fame) will put things in perspective.

It is assumed you have learnt the basics of JavaScript in 11DTEC. If you need to learn/relearn JavaScript basics, look at the:

NCEA Level 2 require you to use at least TWO "advanced programming techniques". For this course they will be:
"responding to events generated by a Graphical User Interface (GUI)"
"modifying data stored in collections" we will read/write to a database.

We will be learning in easy steps through completing various skills tasks such as; W3.CSS, code layout and P5.js.
Not only will you be learning skills, you will be re-using a lot of the task's code in your programming assessment.
