Marking Sheet - How to get A, M, E grade
List of potential complex procedures you need to include at least two in your design - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1krSZKlyuhM9R6EBVEdTscF2B7Em89k-d7sRdTNl3OJ4/edit

Resources below are to support you in completing the tasks above
Task 1: Create a Mood board
1) Read the task in the task sheet
2) Read through the resource to the right to learn about different types of mood boards and what a mood board could look like in different contexts. E.g. UI design, website, print, mobile
app.
3) Present your mood board however you wish.
Task 3: Personas
1) This task is designed to help you unpack and identify the needs and challenges of the end user.
2) Read the task in the task sheet
Look on the slide show for an example
Task 4: Defining the project/Writing the Brief
a) Read the task sheet for what you need to include for this task.
Purpose
Requirements
End-users (names & roles)
Implications that are relevant to your project and context.
Task 5: Investigation of UX methodologies
a) Read the tasksheet
b) Present your research and examples of how the methodology could be applied in your Google slide. There should be a slide for each methodology. The methodologies you should focus on are:
User Research & Personas
Accessibility design
Visual design
However, you could focus on others.
Example of a labelled interface showing visual design principles
Task 6: Applying UX methodologies to develop Initial Designs
a) Read the task sheet
b) Gather content for the outcome. Paste text into a Google doc and add images/ media to a folder.
c) Depending on the UX methodologies you have selected this will look different for everyone - If you are unsure how to proceed speak to the teacher.
The A3 design sheets (below) are available to help you sketch wireframes/ develop designs but you can lay this out however you want.
Template for multiple-page website
Template for a single-page website
Example of wireframes
Task 7: Selecting an Idea
Select an idea to continue with
Put a tick next to it - Make sure it is clear what design or parts of a design you are continuing to develop
Explain why this is an appropriate design, refer to how it meets,
The purpose
End-user requirements (e.g. easy to read/ navigate, accessibility)
The requirements of the project.
Task 8: Modelling the design & Applying UX methodologies
Read the task
Create a digital model of the idea using a wireframing/ prototyping application to test how the website will look and function. For example, moqups, slides, Figma.
Trial colour schemes using https://www.canva.com/colors/. You could research how colour is used in websites.
Get end-users to test it and record their feedback.
Make changes to improve the design based on feedback, UX methodologies and testing. Record the changes.
Task 9: Presenting the final design
Read the task.
Present the final design you will go on to develop in the next project this should include.
A digital model showing how the home/ landing page will look and function in mobile & PC view, along with one other page.
A site map to show the structure site.
A content map showing what content goes on each page.
Present the selected colour scheme and font as a one-page style guide for your project.
Reflection of how the design is fit for purpose.
Help with creating style guidelines
