What sikhs believe:
Today we learnt about the religion Sikhism and who they worship. We learnt about what they believe, who founded their religion and what they do when they worship to their god.
We then spoke about similarities and differences to the other religions we have looked at this year.
NC Describe and make connections between different features of the religious and non-religious worldviews they study, discovering more about celebrations, worship, pilgrimages and the rituals which mark important points in life in order to reflect thoughtfully on their ideas;

Valuable lessons
Today we learnt about valuable lessons. We wrote about what they are and if we can remember any valuable lessons we have had taught to us. We then looked at different stories from the bible and tried to decode what the valuable lesson was in the story.
NC: Describe and understand links between stories and other aspects of the communities they are investigating, responding thoughtfully to a range of sources of wisdom and to beliefs and teachings that arise from them in different communities;
