We looked at five main weather types and used them within our sentences.
We recorded our ideas on our Chromebooks using sentence starters from the board.
We use sentence frames to help us build our sentences. We practice with our partener before we complete any written activities.

We used these phrases to help us write sentences and making them into longer sentences using cuando and porque. These mean 'when' and 'becuase'.

We have focused on speaking and listening activities this term.
To help with our learning we recapped the days of the week.
We work with our partner to practice the sentences. We use the sentence starters from the board to help us. - Lily
At the start of each session we practice our phonics. - Jade
We've practiced the vowel sounds and ci (s). - Ollie
We played a phonics game where we needed to get the girl from one side of the board to the other. We had to read the words and decide if the words had a soft or hard sound. Â We add an extra challenge we had to find shortest path.

In partners, we practiced asking and replying to our partner about what we like and dislike doing at certain times of the year.
Module 3

I drink... and I eat
We looked at common food and drinks and identified the words that we already knew and that we could guess from looking at the words. We put these into sentences to show what we liked to eat and drink.
We made connections to our Yr 2 learning and rememebers that they we had learnt about foods in Yr 2 when we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
We have practised our listening skills to practice our key words for this week.
We played Bingo for the words we have been learning and also practiced some memory skills by memorizing words from the board and then copying into our books.
Module 4

We recalled the names of the 12 fruits we had looked at previous year groups.
We played BINGO to help us recall the 12 fruits.
We then wrote the names of the fruits and used within sentences to say what we like to eat and don't like to eat.Â
Reading skills - Ollie We had a sheet of different Spanish phrases. We had to match to the English phrases to the Spanish phrases.
We played games to apply these skills to end our lessons.Â

Today was a speaking and listening session.
We started by practicing the n sound and how this can make two sounds in Spanish.
We also explored the endings of words and how they differ for male and female words.
