Ocarinas:

This term we have been focusing on reading music and practising our "fingering" and "tonguing" whilst playing the ocarinas.

Drama: Listening

This week we were focusing on our listening skills.  We needed to play some games which involved us listening to specific words and doing actions. We then had to read a poem in our group and create different voices and actions that linked to it. We then performed this to the class for everyone to try and identify who each of us was in the group.

Drama: Freeze Frames

This week we were creating moves and actions for the different types of weather. We then had to create a sequence of freeze frames from our moevments to perform to the class for them to guess the weather we were acting out.

Drama: Changing of levels

In today's lesson, we reviewed all the elements that we have been learning over our last couple of lessons. We then had to create different moves that mimicked a plant going through its life cycle. This allowed us to use all the elements, that we have learnt throughout the term, to produce a piece of drama that we performed for the class.

This term we are focusing on performing music in solos and in groups. We have to read music and practice the tune to be able to perform it fluently with control.
