Bio Basics
First impressions matter, and when potential clients find your HouseSigma landing page, they will be looking for a credibility check and a sense of who you are.
You have to knock them dead with two or three dazzling sentences that show you’re a likable, credible, and accomplished expert.
Let’s take a look at some tips to create an excellent real estate agent bio and look at bio examples from our Realtors:
Lead with Your values and skills: As per a REALTOR® website, the top traits clients are looking for in a real estate professional are trustworthiness, experience, skilled negotiator, and local market knowledge.
State your real estate experience: how long you’ve been in real estate, why you do what you do, what makes you a good choice.
Convey your connection to the area you buy or sell in: how long do you know the local area and ebbs and flows of its market.
Emphasize the clue you provide clients: convey what you offer clients that your competitors don’t. Highlight what makes you unique.
Include any of your special designations (if applicable): tell your clients about your education and certifications that show you have a deeper understanding of the profession.
Provide any past client testimonials: they serve as proof of the claims you make, so don’t shy away from providing them.
Here is one of our favorite examples. Chad’s bio is short and sweet. He details his experience and emphasizes the high-quality service he provides to clients. This excellent service results in repeat customers and referrals.
