We are excited to announce a new initiative designed to convert registered users into qualified leads for our agents while continuing to be in compliance with TRREB to service only bona fide consumers
For now, this BETA initiative is applicable only to Level 2B or higher agents who service TRREB listing areas
What This Means for You?
MORE LEADS!: This initiative will provide additional leads to your funnel.
Extra Leads Without Depleting Claim Quota: These new registered user leads will NOT be counted towards your daily claim quota
No Additional Work to Get These Extra Leads: You do not need to do extra work to get these new registered user leads! Leads will be posted by our ISA team on the relative ISA group chat.
How it works
Registered users without an assigned HouseSigma agent will be prompted with a questionnaire to self-identify when browsing TRREB listings.
Users who satisfied the following criteria will be prompt with a greeting pop up from one of our randomly-chosen agents (Agent R):
Are not Realtors©
Have plans to buy, sell, or rent in the near future
Users can then choose to either directly contact Agent R or acknowledge and dismiss the greeting.
If user chooses "Contact", they are assigned directly to Agent R and can send a direct inquiry
If user chooses "Acknowledge", our Internal Sales Agents (ISAs) will engage with these users directly via the in-app chat
The user will be temporarily assigned to the ISA in contact with them.
Once the ISA qualifies the user, the ISA team will post the lead on the relevant ISA group chat.
Non Bona Fide Users:
In cases where we determine the user is a non bona fide user (Realtors, Commercial Consumers..etc)
Users will be cut off from the TRREB listings feed, they will still have access to other board listings on HouseSigma
Our agents will have a new tool on our Internal Dashboard to block consumers if deemed Not bona fide consumer to cut off the user from access to TRREB listings. Please be cautious with using this feature, activity will be audited
Steps to Block / Unblock a user from TRREB listing access
Step 1: Access the 'Manage Consumer Status' utility from the Internal Dashboard menu.
Step 2: search using the lead's phone number or email address

NOTE: Searching for a non-existent record takes longer to return a result.
Check the Is Consumer field, this indicates whether the user is currently marked as a bona fide consumer or not.
yes - The user account is not blocked from TRREB listings.
no - The user account is blocked from TRREB listings.
Unblock button - Click this button to unblock the user account.
Note: Users will have to agree to TRREB's TOS again after their account is unblocked
Block button - Click this button to block the user account.
A confirmation dialog will appear to confirm the action.
Error messages or success messages are shown at the bottom of the page.
FAQs
Q: Which users are impacted by this?
A: All registered users across all platforms (Desktop, Mobile Web, App) who are accessing multiple TRREB listings
Q: Which agents are impacted by this?
A: Agents servicing areas with TRREB listings. See TRREB Map to determine if your service areas are within the TRREB listing areas
Q: What happens to the users who do not self-identified as bona fide consumers in the questionnaire?
A: Users who do not self-identify as a bona fide consumers will have their access to TRREB listings revoked. An error message will appear when they try to access TRREB listings. To regain access, they must contact support via FAQ or agent@help.housesigma.com. These users can still browse listings from other real estate boards
Q: Which agent will the bona fide consumer be assigned to?
A: Leads will be available to claim from the area relevant ISA group chat.
Q: Will this dilute the current lead count on the lead claim board?
A: The overall lead count should increase. Instead of waiting for users to tap on the "Schedule Viewing" button, we are now proactively engaging with them.
Q: Will there still be leads going to the lead claim board?
A: Yes. There will be bona fide consumers who choose not to engage with our ISAs via in-app chat. For those users, their "schedule viewing" requests will still go to the lead claim board for agents to claim
Q: What if I find out that a lead is not a bona fide consumer?
A: The definition of a bona fide consumer can be vague and is subject to your judgment. If you identify someone as a non-bona fide consumer, you can block their TRREB access through our internal dashboard please see the steps above
Q: What will happen to my personal leads?
A: Your personal leads will not be impacted. They should already be assigned to you and will not receive the questionnaire. If they have multiple HouseSigma accounts and are assigned to multiple agents, we have existing processes to merge accounts and verify the source of the lead
Q: What is beyond Phase 1?
A: There are many possibilities with this initiative. We want to measure the impact of Phase 1 before deciding on additional actions.
Q: Will this be roll out to other regions?
A: We will first monitor the impact of Phase 1. If successful, we will assess the feasibility and viability of expanding this feature beyond TRREB listings
