This term learners will be finalising and recording all NEA requirements of the course. This includes solo performance, ensemble performance, composition of a free choice and composition to a set brief.

A formative composition assessment at the midpoint of the unit and a summative composition at the end of the unit.

Course overview - Study Period 2 - AOS 2, 3, 4, 5 Study
Learners will further study and revise areas of study 2, 3, 4 and 5 and key exam techniques in proportion for the end of course exam. This component will assess learners’ knowledge and understanding of the content of Area of Study 2: The Concerto Through Time, Area of Study 3: Rhythms of the World, Area of Study 4: Film Music and Area of Study 5: Conventions of Pop.
