Course overview - Study Period 1 and 2
During the first study period: Learners will explore the ways in which Christians interact with other Christians from different denominations, believers of other religions, and those with no religious belief. They will explore how Christianity is reflected in British culture, how prevalent Christianity is in the UK today, and how it is central to our national identity. They will analyse the reasons why religions sometimes struggle to cooperate and coexist, and steps believers take to overcome their differences. They will study areas of contention between religious and secular culture, including medical ethics, and learn about secular groups such as Humanism.
During the second study period: Learners will prepare for their mocks. They will review all their learning from the GCSE course, completing a subject audit, and referring to their C10 mocks.
