Course overview - Study Period 1 and 2
During the first half term - Part-time jobs, work experience, applying for a job, careers, charity work. Learners will be able to navigate the topic of Work from many angles . Firstly they will learn the spanish words for different occupations, places where these jobs take place, say what they usually do to help around the house and explain what they spend their money on. Part time jobs will be discussed in addition to work experience. Dream jobs and suitability for different roles will also be described. Learners will find out how to apply for jobs in German using the correct language.
During the second study period -This study period allows for consolidation of the future tense as learners explore options beyond school, within wider education and into the world of work and the attributes needed to be successful in different fields.

Written Assessment to be marked formally and written feedback provided
A reading & listening assessment
Guidance:
Learners will receive guidance in a variety of ways. These include marked assessments, including feedback in books, 1:1 interaction, vocabulary tests, self & peer assessments of including class tasks
