Graphic Design II is an advanced, studio-based course designed for students ready to expand their creative and technical skills beyond foundational design principles. Building on concepts introduced in Graphic Design I, students develop more sophisticated visual solutions through the creation of complex, professional-quality design projects.
A major focus of the course is the integration of photography into graphic design, emphasizing composition, visual storytelling, and image manipulation as tools for effective communication. Students explore industry-inspired applications such as poster design, branding and logo development, packaging design, and advertising campaigns, engaging in deeper conceptual thinking and refined execution.
Through critique, revision, and project-based learning, students enhance their problem-solving skills, visual literacy, and creative confidence, producing a polished body of work that reflects real-world design practices.
