Self-Reflection

This project asked students to create artwork rooted in personal identity, experience, memory, or emotion. Rather than focusing solely on technical skill, students were challenged to think critically about how imagery, composition, color, symbolism, and material choices could communicate something meaningful about themselves. The assignment encouraged honesty, vulnerability, and intentional visual storytelling while allowing students the freedom to interpret the prompt in highly individual ways. Media was open, giving students the opportunity to select materials that best supported their ideas and artistic voice.
