Mrs. Quesada's Class
Week 26
Week 26
Grandparents Day is here! This Friday, doors will open at 9:15, and our show will begin at 10:15! After the show, grandparents are welcome to go and see students in their classrooms, and will be able to sign out their students for the day! Speaking parts for Grandparents Day were passed out last week. Please ensure your child is pracitcing their line(s) and are feeling prepared!
Following our Grandparents' Day activities on Friday, February 27, the seventh grade class will be hosting an In 'N' Out lunch fundraiser on our campus. Each meal consists of a cheeseburger, a bag of potato chips, and a bottle of water. Consider bringing a blanket and making it a picnic, or you may eat your lunches at any of the picnic tables across the campus. Lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 and tables will be set up outside the 4th and 5th grade classrooms. The cost for each meal is $10; please bring cash or a check (payable to Hanford Christian School).
This fundraiser helps fund the students' trip to Washington DC in the spring of 2027. This is a wonderful trip and an experience they will never forget.
Please fill out this form if your child(ren and their grandparents are planning to enjoy this meal! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfvdZsr_RgBwyCiXG2I7AZwtVRnPseqqwyKW2BmPd0S5835tg/viewform. Please be thinking about how your student will be going home that day, as it is a half day. You can communicate with me if there are any specific instructions for your student that day!
The library will host a book fair with I55 in the gym, Feb.23-27. Students will have the opportunity to preview books and create a “wish list” of books which interest them. They will be able to make purchases during their usual library visit. If you choose to send payment with them, please remember to add appropriate tax. The book fair will also be open after school, Monday -Friday. What a great gift your grandparents can buy for their students; a Book of their choice! Refer to the “Warrior” for after-school sales schedule, as well as a code for online sales. HCS will receive a portion of the sales for book purchases!
Librarians,

Please ask your student if any of their supplies need to be restocked in order to be a part of all of our lessons!
Please be diligent in reminding your student to check their planners nightly for any assignment due dates, or upcoming quizzes/tests. As we are continually working on organization and independence, this is such an important tool to have.

John 3: 20-21
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
