Mrs. Quesada's Class

Week 21

Announcements

Each Friday, the 5th Grade is in charge of ice cream sales for the school. We would love parent volunteers to help oversee these sales. Parents that volunteer will need to be at school around 11:15 to prep for sales starting at 11:30 and are typically finished around 12:15. If you would be willing to help with these sales, please use the Slottr  link here to sign up for a time.

Starting in Quarter 3, to best prepare students for middle school expectations, we are implementing two new types of punchcards. One will be a locker punch card. This card will have ten punches of which the students can use to get forgotten learning materials (books, workbooks, assignments, pencil cases, etc.) from their lockers. The card will have 10 punches that can be used for the entirety of quarter 3. After all ten punches are used, students will receive a citation each time they go to their locker. The second punchcard willl be an assignment punch card. This card is to hold students accountable to turning in assignments on time. Each time an assignment is turned in late, a punch will be taken, with every other punch resulting in a citation.

Report Cards for quarter 2 will be released Friday. Keep an eye for information about honor roll and high honor roll/ future pep rally information.

Congratulations to our classroom spelling bee finalists: Joey Zylstra, Charlotte Robinson, and Kyle Williams! These students along with three other students will be competing in the HCS spelling bee.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him, shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into to World to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

John 3:16-18
