Mrs. Quesada's Class
Week 14
Week 14
A lot of amazing things are coming up on our HCS campus! Please read carefully through each announcement!
We are having a canned food drive for the Salvation Army from Nov. 2nd-20th. The class that brings in the most per student will receive a reward. Students can bring food to their homeroom class any of the days listed above. The theme for the month of November is FRIENDS WHO SACRIFICE. Galatians 5:13 reminds us to “Serve one another humbly in love.” We can serve others and sacrifice by donating what God has so richly given to us.
Hanford Christian is having a food drive for the LOCAL Salvation Army. Please talk with your child about what your family can donate from your pantry to help others and WHY it’s important that we serve and sacrifice through donations. Each classroom will be collecting cans and boxes of food over the next two weeks. It’s amazing what can be collected when we all work together! Your student may bring in their donations all at once or one a day. Prayerfully consider how you can help local people by donating.
Our School Wide Veteran's Day assembly is coming up on Wednesday, November 11th. We will not have school Friday, November 13 to observe Veteran's Day. Your students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue for this day in order to show our appreciation for our Veterans!
We are gearing up for our Burris Park Field trip, November 12th. This field trip focuses on what we studied in science for first quarter about Organishms and their environments, food chains vs. food webs, and some local history of Kings County as well!. The field trip will be from 9-1:30 and your students will need to bring a sack lunch for that day (no hot lunch orders.) Your students have cars that they are riding in for the field trip. These are the chaperones that have been school approved to come along with us, and drive our students to Burris Park.

John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him
