Mrs. Quesada's Class
Week 15
Week 15
We are looking forward to a week full of gratitude/empathy focus! We want to prepare for our Thanksgiving break by allowing our students to learn how to be intentional on how they are thanking God for the many blessings He gives to us, and how to be gracious and empathetic to others! With this focus, we will be having a "friendsgiving" celebration on Friday afternoon as we go into our break.. If your child would be able to bring a favorite snack or treat to share with the class, we will have a favorites potluck as an afternoon time together after we finish with quizzes for the week! Please have your child let me know what they are bringing by Thursday! There are 11 students in our class.
Please keep thinking about what cans your student can bring in for our Salvation Army food drive! Our boxes will be counted and collected Tuesday of this week! Thank you for your willingness to provide a better holiday season for so many of the lowly families in our community!
Our Thanksgiving Chapel is this Wednesday, November 19th, at 9 AM. Please join our preschool-8th students in a time of Thankful reflection on what God is doing for us, as His people!
Remember, there are pizza orders this week Friday for sale to help support students going to Washington D.C. Have your student ready to order by Wednesday!
There is a link named "Winter Week" in the first link of the newsletter page that shows the upcoming dress-up/spirit week days as we count down to Christmas! Take a look to see how you and your student can prepare to be a fun participant in our school community!
Our kindergarten through 5th grade Christmas Show is coming up on December 16th from 6-8 PM. If you are able, please have your student listen to their songs as you are preparing for the holiday season! The songs are each linked here.
