I am eager to chat with you at conferences on Thursday or Friday! Please make sure you fill out the Pre-Conference Questionnaire that was sent out via email by Tuesday!

Mrs. Anker and I are excited to meet with each and everyone one of you for Parent Teacher Conferences coming up soon! As a reminder, our conferences are booked for 15 minutes at a time. We want to be sure that each meeting starts and ends on time! Please be punctual and ready with your concerns and questions. Be watching for the Slotter Sign up email for conference time slots coming on the app in the next week! You will just need to sign up with your child's homeroom teacher. There will be comments from Mrs. Anker in Math that I will read for you at your child's conference.  If you have any concerns in Math after you see the report card, please take sometime to email Mrs. Anker before conferences. 

The Holes Project Due Date has been changed to Wednesday, October, 28th. Students mustbring the project COMPLETED that day! Please email me if you have questions about printing anything for the project. Remember..... If you are having your student log on to google classroom at home, here is a helpful video of how to log on in steps. 

Remember, if your student is wanting extra practice with a concept, or some timed test practice, our 5th grade Resources page is a great place to find these items for them! 

On October 27th we will be having a special welcome home Prayer and Pledge to those that have come back from the USS Abraham Lincoln. Please plan to wear Red White and Blue in lieu of Spirit Wear that day, as we want to show these families and students support and encouragement! 

In regards to dress code, the school has requested that we remind you that Halloween themed clothing is not a part of our school's dress code. Please read through page 9 of the parent/student handbook to refresh yourself on the standards for dressing your student. Our dress code policy is in place to create a respectful and focused learning environment that is conducive to academic success.

Memory Verse: Due October 28th

*Our memory verse is a little different this week. I want the students to focus on memorizing the verse 6 and 10, and be ready to answer the question that is shown below! I want them to think about how these verses remind us how the men of the book of Daniel acted, and how God blessed them. The students can use words from any of the verses to describe what the men did and what God did for them! 

Vocabulary test and packet due date will be on October 28th (The Wednesday before conference break!)
