~The students are excited about our upcoming Prayer Partners event coming up this next week the 11-15th. This weekend, with your child, you can prepare and collect the different gifts for their prayer partner. Check out the favorites pages your child has for their partner to help pick some of the items!
Monday- Sweet Treat- Spoil your friend with a sweet treat.
Tuesday- Sip, Sip, Hooray!- Quench your friend’s thirst with their favorite drink.
Wednesday- Deck the Halls- Bring your friend a Christmas ornament that will remind them of you.
Thursday- Friendsgiving- Show your friend how much you appreciate them with a card.
Friday- Movie Time- Treat your friend to a fun snack that they can enjoy during the movie!
~The Leadership Club has come up with fun dress up days for us to participate in from Thursday December 14-Wednesday December 20th. The flyer with that information is down below!
~ Mrs. Banta has asked for our 5th graders to be dressed in their Christmas best for the concert on December 12th. All grade levels are planning on being part of a practice session on Monday, December 11th in the morning; this participation is a part of their music grade! Please have them here on Monday and Tuesday with a ready attitude of praise!
~ The other service project that our 5th grade classes took on was the adoption of a family for Christmas through KCAO. Thank you to those who have signed up already! Please sign up for an item or items with your child to provide our family with a wonderful Christmas! Here is the link to sign up for our class! These gifts need to be brought to school by this Friday, December 15.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today, in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.
