Week 27
Week 27
Congratulations to our 5th grade spelling candidate, Heidi! We are so proud of your hard work, and how you represented our class and HCS at the Kings County Spelling Bee!
Our Book Character Day will be on March 6!
Kindergarten - Second Grade get to dress up like their Favorite Superkids Character.
Third - Fifth Grades get to dress up like their favorite Book Character (and can bring their book with them!)
In the afternoon, students will be partnered with other grades to read to each other.
Parade: 2:45 pm
Students from K- 5th grades will participate in a parade around the elementary area of the school. Jr. High students will be lining the parade area and supporting our K-5th students.
Parents, you are more than welcome to enjoy the parade! The parade will begin at 2:45pm.
Please be diligent in reminding your student to check their planners nightly for any assignment due dates, or upcoming quizzes/tests. As we are continually working on organization and independence, this is such an important tool to have. Check in with your fifth grader about how their supplies are stocked in their binders, and other items they use daily! Thank you for partnering with us to create proactive habits in our 5th graders!
