We will be having a field trip to Burris Park on September 25th. Thank you to all of the parents who are willing to drive and chaperone this field trip. We will be leaving school at 8:45, right after out bus evacuation drill, and will be returning to school around 1:30. Students will need to bring a sack lunch/snack, a water bottle, and appropriate clothing for being outside! Please look for more information coming home as we get closer to this field trip; it will be with your student on Monday!

Friday, September 26th is R.E.D. Friday at Hanford Christian!  R.E.D. stands for Remembering Everyone Deployed, and wearing RED on a Friday helps us be mindful of the deployed and the sacrifices their families make. We have so many amazing military families at Hanford Christian, and we want to thank you and support you! 

 Students will receive a spirit wear coupon for dressing in or wearing red (bandana, socks, pants, anything!).  HCS families that have loved ones deployed will be acknowledged and prayed for at Prayer and Pledge, and the National Anthem will be played.

Students will be tested on the definitions of the vocabulary words below this Friday, September 26th.

Vocabulary: Please check in with your student each night and see if they have completed another section of their packet and/or studied their quizlet. The packet due date and the quiz on the definitions are on Friday, September 26th The Studykit to study the roots, words, and definitions is posted in the Spelling class in Google Classroom.
