Mrs. Quesada's Class
Week 7
Week 7
This Wednesday, September 23rd, we are going Walnut Gleaning along with our 4th grade classes. This field trip/fundraiser is done each year to help raise money for the 6th grade Hume Lake trip. We will be going on a bus to the Walnut orchard located at the TeVelde's orchard very near the school. We will be getting on the bus at 9:15 and be there by 9:30. If you are willing to help, you may email a confirmation to your child's homeroom teacher. You are welcome to drive and meet us there. We will be leaving by 11:15 to be back at school by 11:30. Wednesdays are early out days, so we will still need you to pick up your student at Hanford Christian by 1:30. Please have your student wear close toed shoes and jeans or pants as it is very dirty and dusty work! Students are asked to bring a large bucket, may wear gloves, and can bring a rake if they would like! In the past, students have earned the most buckets to win a special snack! Encourage your student to work hard!
Our HCS classrooms will be participating in See You At the Pole this Wednesday morning. Classroom teachers and students will be spending some focused time in prayer for our nation, our state, and our cities during prayer. We will be praying that God will be glorified and His name will be known throughout our nation that day!
Students will be tested on the definitions of the vocabulary words below this Friday, September 25th.
