Hello, Bear Family!
Happy Fall Bear Family!
A lot is happening here at the Bluff! Our fall sports teams are heading towards the playoff / regional parts of their seasons. Did you happen to catch the beautiful National Anthem sung by both our middle and high school choral groups? Our band continues to rock it at halftime of the football games.
Looking ahead, as the weather changes, so do the competitive seasons. Theater is getting ready for One Act competition, and winter sports are gearing up. Speaking of gearing, the Gear Bears, our robotics team, is coming together to compete in the next few months.
If you are new to CBHS, next week is such a treat! It is Homecoming week here at the Bluff. The week is full of festivities. Spirit dress up days, the Powder Bluff game, the parade and bonfire, all culminate in the football game Friday evening and the dance on Saturday. We can't wait to celebrate as a community during these events.
Finally, be on the look out for a Parent Information Night on October 10th, and Fall Break, October 16-18.
I hope that you get a moment to enjoy the cooler temperatures and (hopefully soon) the change of colors in the natural world around us. If you haven't caught a sunset or sunrise around our campus, you are missing out! We have some of the most spectacular colors.
Take care, make good choices, and always, Go Bears!!

No matter where our students will find themselves after high school, there will be set expectations including things like dress codes and ids. Some of our students are struggling to remember where particular items of clothing are appropriate. Attire for a football game or weekend activity are not the same as the dress code on campus.
Please refer to the dress code and visible reminder.
One of ways to make good choices and be a leader is by making good choices each morning!
SAVE THE DATE!!
TONS OF INFORMATION TO HELP STUDENTS SUCCESS!
On October 26 at CBHS, over 300 students took the Digital PSAT, and 113 students took the paper version of the SAT. The Digital PSAT, administered for the first time ever at CBHS, was very successful. Students who took the PSAT can expect their scores to be released by Nov. 16. SAT students should receive their scores by Nov. 16th also.
On Monday, Oct. 23rd, over 70 AP students participated in the first Trivia Night of this school year. Students enjoyed pizza, desserts, good music, peer collaboration, challenging questions, and friendly competition. Organized and led by Mr. Jeremy Purdy, AP Trivia Night is a "can't miss" opportunity for Advanced Placement students.
Our next Trivia Night date will be announced soon. Stay tuned.
Fall Sports are in FULL SWING! All of our fall sports and activities are grinding and making Bear Nation Proud! Make sure you look at our calendars above and catch one of our many events each day of the week.
