Hello Bear Family,
October has flown by with so many high points! Our softball, volleyball, and cross country teams have all made to post season play and have represented CBHS with determination and class. (Cross Country will compete at state in Carrollton this Saturday.) Football is still going strong taking on North Oconee at home this Friday where we will honor our seniors, so come join us to celebrate them at our final home game.
To "Target Excellence" this month, we have been focusing on good sportsmanship. We have worked with our Legacy students, Sources of Strength, and our Innovation classes to talk about what excellence looks like in a competitive arena - win or lose. I have been so proud of the way our student section has stepped up their game this month to cheer on our teams and encourage good sportsmanship.
Is there particular information or a future topic you would like to see covered in The Bluff Bulletin? Please let me know HERE.
A quick shout out to Ms. Tess for adding our calendar below ... hopefully this is easier to see what is coming up around CBHS. (This is updated with as much as is shared with her.)
We have been given the gift to start fresh again with this new month, so let's all welcome this opportunity in November. The choices we make today will become the legacy we will leave in the future!
Have a great day and Go Bears!
Mrs. Ramsey
NEW: As the weather changes, again a reminder that the top or outer layer worn with leggings should hit the legs at fingertip length.
Also, if your student "borrowed" a top from the front office so that they met dress code, please return those to Ms. Tess.
OLD: Our Student Agenda is available HERE
Please help us encourage our students to follow the dress code during the school day.
Remind your students to wear their IDs each day, all day. Thank you for your help with this!
Parents can go to MyPaymentsPlus to purchase a second ID if your child looses it. It is the expectation for and the responsibility of the students to wear their IDs daily.
"See something, Send Something" - help keep our system and students safe. Reminder: all immunization MUST be up-to-date. If you have a student turning 16 they are due an immunization that must be on file at the school.
