*** Our apologies... in the height of excitement after the awesome win on Friday, we forgot to send out this February edition. Girls play again Wednesday in Macon. ***
Go Bears!
Hello Bear Family,
I shared last month that we were going to take part in a process in early February to see how we as a complete school community are excelling and where we have room to grow. I want to thank you for your feedback on the parent survey links. Probably one of the reasons I have chosen to remain in school as a career, is that I love being a part of the learning process. For my own self growth or helping others grow and learn bring me joy. After we process some of the feedback as a staff, I will be sharing the highlights with our community.
Our registration of next year's classes has finished up for the time being. All students should have had conversations with all seven of their teachers about where the teacher recommends future class placement. In addition to their teachers, students should have also met with a member of our registration team in the media center to double check they are fully registered for next school year. Talking with our teenagers can be a one sided conversation many times, so please reach out and ask about what they are interested in taking as electives, and how the interactions went with different staff members.
Thank you for being part of our Bear Family. Make good choices, and Go Bears!
Mrs. Ramsey
Save the Date!
Our next Coffee & Campus Talk will be Scheduling 101 with Mrs. Wilson. This is for parents of current 9th, 10th & 11th graders. The date is Tuesday, March 18 at 8:30am.

IDs and Dress Code
Our Dress Code is listed below, and a great visual reminder was created by one of our teachers is referenced to the right.
IDs are part of our school dress code and are issued to all students and staff and are expected to be visibly worn on a lanyard around the neck during the school day.
Please consider these guidelines when purchasing Back to School clothes. While our first concern is that students remain in class, students who consistently defy the dress code will have consequences beginning with calling a parent or guardian to bring other clothing to school and ending with possible ISS for not following school rules.
All lunchroom balances must be paid off each month. Balances carry over year to year. It is also important to remember that you are unable to walk at graduation without having a $0 balance. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call. Below is the link to look at your personalized MyPaymentPlus account.
Is your student 16? If so, they MUST have the Meningitis Booster.
Reminder: All Immunization MUST be up-to-date. If you have a student turning 16 they are due an immunization that must be on file at the school.

This month, LEGACY juniors and seniors have been deeply involved in their capstone projects. Several students recently took part in the Thumbs Up Mission retreat, offering support to families impacted by cancer. Our sophomore class created and donated paper flowers to a local nursing home, while the freshmen have been focusing on overcoming obstacles by posting inspirational notes around the school. Additionally, senior LEGACY students have been actively leading the student section at basketball, baseball, soccer, and lacrosse games, showing their school spirit and leadership.
