UPDATED COVID MEASURES

With the most recent announcement, many of the measures that were announced are already in place at our school. When the Provincial Health Order comes out, Black Gold will update their School Plan and we will share it with our school community. We will continue to enforce and encourage mask wearing, cohorting and social distancing. As always, we encourage our K-3 students to wear a mask, but know that it is not mandatory. We appreciate your support with keeping your child home from school when they are sick. Please continue to do the online assessment daily and use the self assessment tool when necessary.

SCHOOL WEBSITE

Will be updated soon, we will be working with division office, to correct any “bugs”.

PARENT COUNCIL AND FUNDRAISING

We had a great turn out last week at the meetings. They are still looking at volunteers to fill some positions.

CROSS COUNTRY

Unfortunately, the district has cancelled the cross country. The practices and the meet scheduled for the end of September has been cancelled.
