GREAT THINGS HAPPENING AT SCHOOL

We have had a lot of great things happening at school. We are grateful for the nice weather as our students are getting to spend lots of time outside during recess and in PE. We “fondly” remember the minus 30 degree temperatures at this time last year.

VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT

We are looking forward to sharing our Christmas Concert video with you. It will be shared on December 16th. The students are busy practicing and videoing their parts. We encourage you and your family to make it an event. Pop some popcorn, get out your comfy blankets and view it as a family. Please send us a picture that we can post!

VIRTUAL ASSEMBLY AND POSITIVE REFERRALS

We had our first virtual assembly with our students this week, where we talked about kindness and gratitude. We also recognized our positive referral winners. We will be doing more assemblies soon. We will also include our distance learners in the future. Positive referral form

AT HOME LEARNING

Students will be participating in At Home Learning from January 4-8th, 2020. We will be sharing expectations for each grade shortly from each teacher. Your child will bring home material needed during the last week before vacation.

There will be an opportunity to sign out a chromebook, but we do not have many available and priority will be given to those families who need them.

Our school would like to say thank you to the Parent Council and Fundraising Association for their support in our gift of Poinsettias for our staff.

To the Beaumont Society for the Arts, thank you for the incredibly kind and generous donation to support our school with arts programming. We will put the money to good use.

SOCIAL DISTANCING AND MASKS

We have noticed many parents gather in groups and are not socially distant while they wait to pick up their child. Please wear your mask and practice social distancing. We are working hard within the school, we appreciate the same effort at home.
