LATEST COVID AND SCHOOL INFORMATION
There has been a significant increase in cases across the province. It is beginning to impact our school community and throughout the province. It is important for us all to follow AHS requirements with illness and self isolation. Feedback from AHS is that people are not self isolating when ill or in close contact. People have tested positive for COVID-19, even with small symptoms like runny nose or sore throat. Although the majority of the public have mild symptoms, it is the spread to the less vulnerable of our population that is the greatest concern. Please be diligent and take care. Stay home, if you suspect you have been in contact or feeling ill.
If a student comes in close contact with someone who tests positive, they are legally required to self isolate for 14 days. The school will communicate dates with the individual. Family members do not need to self isolate, unless they develop symptoms.
TEXT MESSAGES AND ALERTS FROM THE SCHOOL
At Ecole Bellevue our preferred way to communicate with our parents are emails via school messenger. Under certain circumstances we may need to send out text messages of a more urgent nature. If you would like to ensure you received text messages from the school please text Y to 978338.

SUPERVISION AND ARRIVAL
We are noticing many students arriving very early at our school in the morning. Our supervision does not start until 8:15am, but students are arriving as early at 7:50am. There is no supervision at this time. Students should not be unattended at school. Students are playing across the street in the community centre parking lot snow hills, which is extremely unsafe. There have been a few close calls reported from drivers.
