NOVEMBER 9 - 13, 2020

Dear Bellevue Parents,

We are enjoying having the students here at school and are also thinking about all of our students in either distance learning or home schooling. The students and teachers have been doing amazing things.

We also want to acknowledge all of the hard work and sacrifice parents have made to help keep our school safer. We appreciate it when students are kept at home when they are sick. We encourage all families to follow the advice of AHS and help reduce the number of COVID-19 cases. Parents, please remain vigilant and ensure your child is practicing good hygiene, has clean masks and staying home when not feeling well. Dr. Deena Henshaw reported that too many people are not staying at home and getting together in groups, when feeling unwell.

Yesterday, a letter was sent out from our Superintendent, Mr. Romanchuk, to provide parents with some current information regarding COVID-19 planning in Black Gold. I would like to clarify for you that we are currently in Scenario 1, and there is no direction from AHS or the Government of Alberta to move our schools to Scenario 2 (parital in class) at this time. In the event that AHS and the Government of Alberta make the decision to move us to Scenario 2, all parents will be informed of the change in a timely manner.

FUNDRAISING SOCIETY POINSETTIA ORDERS

Our school's annual Christmas fundraiser is back! The Ecole Bellevue School Fundraising Society has committed to reduced fundraisers to honour families who have been impacted financially by Covid-19. That being said, this fundraiser is a school tradition and a big part of many of our family's Christmas décor. The deadline to order is Tuesday, November 17 and we have created a safe way for all families to pick up their orders. We are encouraging everyone to please pay online. The good news is this year the company is accepting credit cards as a form of payment!
