Another great week! Thank you to parents and students for continuing to follow our new rules and regulations. Thank you for staying off school grounds and being socially distant, when picking up children. If you are bringing a pet, please stay off school grounds, as many students do have fears of animals.
We also appreciate families remembering lunches and masks, daily. Unfortunately, teachers will not be allowed to hand out birthday items, like food or prizes.
The Kiss and Go drop off area at the front of the school should be construction free for now. Please do not leave your car unattended.
REPORTING ABSENCES
Our school does automated call outs everyday for unknown absences. The system will call, text or call parents automatically. To prevent these messages, please contact our school and let them know in advance of any student absence. You can call our office, 780-929-8663 or use our online absence reporting form. Please be specific on reasons for missing school, as it does affect planning for students away, either for illnesss or waiting for results of a COVID test.
VERIFICATION FORMS
The verification forms were sent out through Power School. Please complete these forms online. Contact the office and they can help you with your Power School account. These forms provide us with the most current information. They also include the walking permission form, admirable use (technology) form and the FOIP form. Kindergarten and new families,do not need to complete these forms.
TERRY FOX
We will be participating in the Terry Fox Walk, through our PE classes. We are not collecting Toonies for Terry. If you want to donate, please do it online. http://www.terryfox.ca/EcoleBellevue
WELLNESS
This month we are working with our students on understanding their emotions and developing strategies to help them regulate their emotions.
ORANGE SHIRT DAY
We will be celebrating orange shirt day on September 30th.
