VIRTUAL PARENT CONFERENCES

Parent-Teacher-Student conferences are being held this week. Please ensure you book a time to meet with your teacher/s. as it is a great opportunity to talk about your child’s progress and set goals. https://www.schoolinterviews.ca/code?code=rjckx

If your child has an Individual Support Plan (ISP), it is very important that you meet with your teacher as there is a signing deadline approaching.

PETS AT SCHOOL

Just a friendly reminder about our District’s pet policy. Pets are not permitted inside the school, on the playground or near school entrances and exits. We understand that walking to school is a wonderful opportunity to exercise all members of the family including the dog. If you bring your dog to school in the morning or after school, please keep it on a leash and under control at all times. The dog should be kept away from the entrance/exit doors so that students may come and go without having to walk by your dog. A dog doesn’t need to be large or aggressive to hurt or frighten a child. We are also looking out for the best interest and safety of the dog. Please never tie your dog up outside the school and leave it while you come inside.

Thank you with your assistance in keeping our busy school grounds fun and safe for everyone.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

On November 10th Bellevue School will be taking the time to honour the memory of many people who fought for our freedom. As we continue to practice social distancing, students will remain in their classrooms to watch a video presentation prepared by our students and staff.

Thank you to Mrs. Duke’s grade 5/6 class for your presentation of Sadako Sasaki as well as the many students who presented poemes, stories and artwork.

“They gave their tomorrows so we could have our today...Lest We Forget”.

CLASSROOM REQUESTS

Please do not ask our teachers to hand out birthday invitations or items of that nature. We are required to follow all rules and policies that were set out for us, so we are not able to do this task.
