Sir Bradley Marc Wiggins
Introduction
Sir Bradley Wiggins is a world famous cyclist. During 2012, he won gold in the Olympics, won the tour de France and was knighted on the 29 of December.
As a child
Bradley was born on the 28 April 1980 in Ghent Belgium. With an English mother Linda and an Australian father [he is half-Australian] Gary Wiggins who was based in Belgium as a pro cyclist. Bradley’s father left the family when Bradley was only 2 years old so he moved to London. They lived in a flat in Kilburn. Soon his mother got a job and moved to a church commission flat in Dibdin house estate Maida Vale. His first dream was to play football he supported Arsenal. He found out about cycling when his mum said watch the TV and he saw individual pursuit final.
Adult Life
Wiggins rides for Team Sky in the yellow jersey. In 2012 Wiggins won the Tour de France and in the Olympics he won a gold medal. That is how he is famous and is a sir.
