How to make an image background transparent
You can make the background of an image transparent so that the background will blend into a page:

2. Make sure the background colour does not appear in the image itself. When you make the background of the image transparent, every part of the image with that same background colour will be transparent.
3. Open the View drop-down menu.
4. Select Toolbars
5. Make sure the Picture toolbar is ticked
6. Click on the image
7. Select the Set Transparent Color tool from the picture toolbar.
8. Click on the part of the picture which needs to be transparent.
How to set up animations to start by themselves.
1. In the Custom Animation Task Pane experiment with the three ways for the animation to start:
- On click (When you click the mouse or press a key).
- With previous (At the same time as the previous animation).
- After previous (After the previous animation has finished).
2. Choose the option which creates an appropriate effect.
How to make slides move on by themselves.
1. Open the Slide Show drop-down menu.
2. Click Slide Transition
3. The Slide Transition task pane should open on the right-hand side of the screen.
4. In the Advance slide section, tick the box next to Automatically after.
5. Click the Apply to All Slides button.
6. If you need a delay before the slide moves on, type the number of seconds into the box.
How to insert sound effects.
1. In the Custom Animation Task Pane, right click on an animation you have created.
2. Click Effect Options from the menu which appears.
3. In the sounds box, select an appropriate sound from the list.
4. If you can not find an appropriate sound, click Other Sound…
5. Look in Year 6, Clip art, sounds.
