Have you ever used WD-40?
In 1953, Norm Larsen, was trying to find something which would prevent metal from rusting. He knew this could be done by making sure water did not stay on the metal but was displaced (taken away). Norm's persistence paid off when he perfected the ingredients for WD-40 on his 40th try.
Now that's persistence.
What did you use it for? The can says it has over 2000 uses.
WD-40 literally stands for water displacement 40th attempt.
