ANDY MURRAY
Andy Murray is well known for his tennis skills. From the age of 18 he has persisted throughout his entire career to become a fantastic tennis player.
Childhood and Education
Andy was born in Scotland on May the 15th 1987. On March the 13th 1996 his school was attacked by a Scottish gunman in Dunblane Primary School. Andy was one of the survivors.
Early career
In 2005 Murray became a professional tennis player at the age of 18, since then he has become a world-wide success. Andy played his first open in 2008 in the United States of America; he came second for the first time in his world-wide career.
World career
In 2010 and 2011 Andy finished runner up in the Australian open against Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. In 2012 he represented Great Britain in the men’s tennis at the London Olympics.
Awards in 2012
Andy won a gold medal in in the Men’s singles against Federer and he won silver medal in the mixed gender along with Laura Robson in the Olympics. He won the US open and also came third at the sports personality award.
Conclusion
Andy Murray is good example of perseverance because he never gave up when he lost his first open. Andy Murray has been a inspiration to many people and still is.
