This novel was my perfect story. A protagonist who adventures into the forest, armed with stories, and a dangerous gift. I love how the tale blended in a lot of folklore and, just overall enjoyed the beauty of it. I really liked how the novel had a slightly unconventional ending with not all the characters were 'all okay' in the end. I really enjoyed this book, and greatly recommend that you read it too.

Mind Games was not a Novel I belived I would enjoy as much as I did. I normally don't gravitate toward romance novels, but this one stood out to me. The romance aspect is there, but not entirely in your face, which allowed me to stay more entertained. The inclusion of a lot of folk magic (which seems to be a theme for this edition of the BookNook) really was a draw for me, though I found that it didn't make the novel overly fantasy, rather gave the protagonist a gift. I also liked the themes of facing against your inner demons and the beautifully discribed setting. I'd highly recommend this book as it was hard to put down!
