Prologue

  With the lights flickering off of the gray metal wall you can just make out the body of Evangeline fallen over on the floor.

 “One down and four to go”,the dark figure said.

Coming from the hallway is the sound of footsteps , as the sound footsteps stop, the dark figure turns around to see Minerva standing there. 

“E-Evangeline are you ok?” After a long pause in the dark, the lights flicker on.

 Minerva looks at the figure with fear. She runs to the lounge to hit the emergency button. Very slowly the figure starts walking after her…

Chapter 1: 3 Days earlier

  Everyone’s in the lounge Nyx and Brian are playing chess on one of the dining tables. 

“Hey, you're cheating, you can’t do that” Brian said while smiling.

 “No, me, I would never cheat. I’m not programmed to.” Nyx says with a blank expression

“Well you could do you even know how to play chess, stop it.” Brian laughed. 

While they're arguing, Evangeline is fixing her bow in the mirror. 

“And perfect,” she says to herself.

Behind the wood counter of the kitchen Minerva is chopping fruit for lunch. As the door opens to the lounge, you walk through the room over to the ‘Library Corner’ and pick one of the mystery novels up off the shelf. You settle  yourself on one of the velvet stools around the counter of the kitchen. 

“ I didn't know that Nyx was programmed to play chess.” Minerva said while washing the knives she just used to chop fruit.

“Well Kole did say that they would be able to do all the things that we can do.” I said.

“Yeah but Kova… do you ever get the feeling that they’re watching you? Minerva says

Over the next hour or so your friends come and go through the room. Then Stewart  comes running through the door yelling.

“Guys, guys, guys! I have something amazing to show you!” 

Everyone follow’s Stewart to the lab. After walking through a couple of hallways and Sickbay then another hallway, we reached the lab. In the lab to the left of the door, there are lab-coats hung up on the wall. Also to the left of the door, there is a table with test tubes, half a sandwich and some weird contraption with a frog. Then in the middle of the room there's a big computer attached to a glass cylinder, which is tall enough for you to stand in. There is a smaller cylinder attached to the large cylinder and yet another smaller one attached to that one. And a little hatch to close them if they're not being used. With tables all around the room, with test tube and

 Then Stewart walked over to the computer and asked aloud.“ Which two animal’s DNA’s should we combine together?” 

“A cat and a rat.” said Nyx

“Robin and a scorpion.” yelled Brian

“A kangaroo and dog.” said Minerva

“Bat and a snake” I say

“A salamander and a penguin” exclaimed Evangeline

“Alright let’s do what Brian said, a robin and a scorpion” Stewart says as walked to the cabinet with steel handles and he looks  through files.

“Here they are.” Stewart said  pulling out two files in brown folders

Chapter 2: The lab

  On one folder it says robin, and on the other it says scorpion on the other. He places each folder on the table, then goes over to the right side of the table and opens the drawer. Inside the drawer there are more tubes labeled with animal names. Stewart carefully takes out the tubes labeled “scorpion” and “robin” both filled with liquid, picks up the folders off the table and walks over to the computer and places the folders on top of the computer.

“Okay let's get this going” Stewart said, putting the labeled tubes in the two holes in the computer. After he pushed a button or two on the keyboard, the two tubes lowered in the computer and the liquid drained from them. Then mist appeared in the smaller cylinders.

“Alright now everyone close your eyes and I will pick someone to help me,” Stewart said “ you will push the last button. Now to pick, I shall tap you on the head.” Stewart said After they closed their eyes he taped Brian on the head.

“ Now who I pick step up to the blue button by the big cylinder” As Brain stepped up to the button Stewart pushed him in the cylinder and closed the doors. Then as Brain was pounding on the glass Stewart ran up to the computer again, locking the doors closed. While everyone was trying to get Brain out Stewart walked over to the blue button and pushed it.

The lights flickered and the mist moved to the cylinder with Brain in it, they all backed up to get away from the door. As the lights went out they heard Brain scream, the lights in the cylinder lit up, the mist moved, the red emergency lights turned on and Brain's screaming stopped. The doors of the cylinder now, prison opened and all they heard was the roar of a monster as it left out and attacked Minerva.
