Even though it is only the beginning of the school year for everyone in highschool, Grads of 2024 might want to start thinking about what career paths they would like to pursue. And in turn, what universities and colleges they want to attend. There'll also be many opportunities to apply for scholarships during the fall. Here’s a list of a few schools that’ll be setting up at JL this month:
Universities coming/that have come to JL:
University of Kings College: They were set up in front of the main entrance Wednesday, October 11. Students had the opportunity to stop by and ask any questions you have about their programs, tuition, application process, etc.
Mount Saint Vincent University: will be set up in the main entrance Friday, October 20th. They are offering free applications that day to any of our grade 12 students. If you have questions about their programs, scholarships, tuition, etc. drop by and chat with them.
St. Thomas University: were in the main entrance at the end of the school day, Thursday, October 12. Students were able to drop by if they were thinking about applying at STU. They’re also going to be offering a Virtual Open House on Saturday, December 2 and in-Person Open House on Saturday, October 21.
Dalhousie Open House:
