It's amazing that there existed lots of cultures and civilizations that developed throughout history, more exactly in The Middle Ages, that always had great popularity in the cultural features between the V and X centuries. These cultures that I'm talking about may be:: Islamic, Roman, French (Carolingian) and even the British civilizations it's very popular at the cultural level. But many people forget about all the fearless and brave cultures that lived at the shadows of Europe. In the northern part of Europe near to the representative Baltic sea, and the Scandinavian Peninsula, lived some Scandinavian tribes that nowadays we know as the vikings. The vikings might not be one of the most well-known civilizations culturewide , like the civilizations mention before. But the fact is that the vikings did have an interesting way to live, and some great traditions that not many cultures in the Middle Ages had. It's also important to study their expansions with the other European cultures. They also had many important inventions in technology and engineering like their advanced boats. And they're also important for their many explorations and discoveries. Because of these and many other important reasons the Vikings played an important role in The Middle Ages for the European society.
