The term UFO is used to talk about the unidentified flying objects that, even after an investigation, are kept as a mystery. As we know, recording cameras did not exist in the past, so when something incredible happened, a drawing was made to represent the event the best way possible. As the majority of the Arts in the Middle Ages was influenced by the church, most of the paintings had religious contents. The curious thing is, why would an artist draw what appears to be a UFO on the biblical scene? Since the beginning of times, people have known of the existence of strange and mysterious disc shapes with lights sailing the antique skies and spreading panic.
Some archaeologists have gone 45.000 or even 100.000 years back in time to talk about the discoveries of drawings found in caves and of many tracks left on rocks that clearly represent flying objects in places like Siberia, China, Japan and India, as well as in America and Africa.

Abstract
During Middle Ages, alchemy became popular, to the point of saying alchemists were capable of metallurgical transformation. Different people such as Kings and Queens hired them (alchemists) for transforming their personal objects to gold.
Alchemy, as the majority of the different sciences, was a trying and failure, studying of matter, how it was composed to achieve their goal of transforming different metals to gold.
Alchemists, in order to have something to do, studied how to make life longer or become inmortal, or simply study nature, categorizing plants and their properties. The phenomenon and why it occurs and how we can apply it to common life.
Creating new and improving the materials we know that exist was the center of the alchemist tradition. This was somehow the boost alchemist were standing on and their reason to continue. These materials weren´t only metals, as I said, that had been forgotten.
Although some of their practice had been lost, both branches (west and east) of Alchemists were always searching for a mystic substance, capable of different things, Alchemy was looking for the philosopher stone.
During the next years, metallurgical transformation fell into the people´s oblivion including the same alchemists.
