All three 6th grade CTE classes have a required Digital Citizenship component. Teachers have autonomy of when these lessons occur within the course. Sample times include during conference weeks, around holidays, between units, or during National Digital Citizenship week in October. Teachers can also spread the lessons across a term or throughout the course.
Required -Everfi Ignition -Digital Wellness and Safety - digital literacy curriculum designed to provide students with the information they need to safely and confidently navigate the digital world. (6 25 Minute Lessons)
Required- View the onboarding information for Banzai Digital Citizenship lessons.
These lessons can be spread throughout the curriculum.

Sustainability Foundations - Education for Sustainability - Students are asked to reflect on the kind of future they want for the world, what it will take to get there, and the impact that individuals can have on the environment. Dive deeper with the impact of Technology!! (3 15 Minute lessons)
Smart Economics (Financial Literacy) - Empowers students to analyze the economy and identify factors that impact the price of consumer goods. (3 10 Minute Lessons)
Optional (Financial Literacy) - Future Goals - In Hockey Scholar - Science, students see science & engineering concepts come to life through the fast-paced game of hockey. This course introduces students to some of the many real-life applications of STEM. ** Option to select a Math or Science focus. Covers: Foundational STEM Concepts, Scientific Thinking, & Data/Graphical Analysis (12 20 Minute Lessons)
