Unit Slides Important, this unit is ONLY if you have students transition in and out of your class for the second semester

General summary of unit:

Students will be introduced to many of the soft skills found in the CTE Rubric to prepare for competencies to become Career or College Ready, one example is NACE. Also, they will work on skills such as measurement, drawing and standards of workmanship in the classroom. Please keep in mind, this may be the first project based class these students have every had, they need to learn and understand the expectations.

Goals For A Final Project:

As they work through the small projects the unit will work as a refresher for some, onboarding unit for some, and relationship building unit for all students and the teaches. At the end, the class should develop their own personalized standard of workmanship guidelines with class posters, presentations, flyers, or videos. For the first unit in the fall you may of had everyone present overall workmanship guidelines, for this unit you could match up students who have been with you the first semester and then students who just started.
