Write down 2 questions you have about building a house.

You are planning to design and build the house of your dreams.  You have found the perfect piece of property to build and now it is time to create a set of blueprints to give to the builder.  

• Your house must have a floor plan with a minimum square foot area =1000 sq.ft. and a maximum of 2500 sq. ft.     

• Your plans must be drawn to scale.  1/4" or one block is equal to 1 foot (12 inches)

• Your house must have the following:

  • a gable roof style

  • 2 bedrooms but you may have more

  • 1 full bath but you may have more

  • Bedrooms and bathrooms must each have their own door

  • Kitchen and dining room area

  • A window in all exterior rooms

  • You may add other rooms and features

  • 2 exterior doors
