Year 2 - Week 4 Home Learning

Dear Year 2,

You have completed some more amazing work this week. We are so impressed with your pictures and descriptions of The Crow from 'A Crow's Tale', we hope you enjoyed the story as much as we loved seeing your work. Lots of you also did really well drawing the story map and re-telling the story in your own words. Your maths work has also been great! We can see lots of you know and understand 2D shapes really well now.

We hope you're enjoying learning about different habitats. This week in our topic sessions we're moving on to learning about micro-habitats in woodlands and gardens. There are a few things you might want to keep from your recycling box this week - we've added a 'You will need..' list to Tuesday and Thursday so please do have a look at that.

Just a reminder to keep practising your handwriting and spelling - see the Handwriting page in the Year 2 section of The Hub. We are using the Year 2 Common Exception Words for both handwriting and spelling practise. Also - please keep reading as much as you can. Next week we might ask you to bring one of your favourite books to show the class in register time.

Look forward to seeing you again on Zoom at 9.15am. Here is the link for the Week 4 Home learning grid.

Megan, Caroline and Emma :)
