Navigation Basics

The Teacher Dashboard

This is where you can access rosters, seating charts, important student information, and print off reports.

Accessing PowerTeacher Pro

To access PowerSchool Pro, you can click on the link under Navigation. You can also access it underneath each class.

Assignments

Creating Assignments

  1. Click on Create

  2. Add an Assignment Name

  3. Select Assignment-Elementary

  4. You can now Save

Assigning to Students

  1. Click on Students Tab

  2. Click Add/Remove Students

  3. Click the top box to Deselect All

  4. Select Student(s) to Assign

Aligning to Standards

  1. Click on the Standards Tab

  2. Select Only One Standard

  3. Click Show Selected Standards

  4. Make Sure Auto-Calculate Assignment Standards Scores is checked

Duplicating Assignments

  1. Click on the Assignment

  2. Click on Edit Assignment

  3. Click on Duplicate Assignment

  4. Rename the assignment

  5. Select the class you are duplicating the assignment too

  6. Click on Save and Close

Grading

Adding Grades

  1. Click on the Assignment

  2. Select the student cell where you want to input the grade

  3. Enter the score for each student and hit Enter

  4. Click Save Scores when finished

Fill Down Grades

  1. Click on an empty cell to enter a grade

  2. Select “Fill” Assignment to fill a column

  3. It will fill in the entire column with that same grade

  4. You can manually override individual grades

  5. Click Save Scores when finished

  • Entering grades for individual assignments throughout the year

  • For Anecdotal notes

  • Standards need to be attached to your assignments

Standards

  • Will Transfer Over to Report Cards

  • Use Behavior Promoting Codes:

      • C: Consistently

      • O: Occasionally

      • R: Rarely
