This page will offer some free resources to supplement the science curriculum. These resources can be accessed on an iPad or a Chromebook for a real K-12 solution. These are fantastic resources to use when implementing a station rotation or centers model in your classroom.

CK12 is a free resource for science, math, social studies, and more. From text resources and videos to practice assessments and interactives, CK12 allows students multiple modalities to learn! As a bonus, it integrates great with both Schoology & Google Classroom.

Creating & Customizing Your Own Text Book

Using Flexbook 2.0, you can create, curate, and customize your very own digital textbook with your class. Inside of your Flexbook, you can embed media like video content, practice questions, interactive simulations, and PLIX activities.

Flexbook 2.0 is currently only available for certain Middle School & High School Topics.

Epic! Book Collections (K-5)

I have curated Book Collections based on the content you teach in each of the three Foss Modules. Feel free to make them available to your students by adding the collection to your account.

The app is available in Self-Service for all students and staff.

Interactive Digital Simulations

PhET provides fun, free, interactive, research-based science and mathematics simulations for students in grades K-12. It is a great resource for students to build inquiry and explore why a certain occurance may be happening. They have been working on converting all of their simulations over to HTML5 so they will work on both Chromebooks & iPads!
