This page will show you how to use the native tools on the devices, but you can refer to our Loom Page if you'd like a web version to do something similar.
The MacBook Air
Taking a Screenshot on your MacBook Air
Built into your mac, is a powerful screencasting/screenshot tool with a ton of options. Just press command + shift + 5 and it'll bring up options for each. You can record your entire screen, a small part of that screen, or take screenshots!
The iPad
Screen Recording on iPad
On your District iPad (Elementary Only), you can easily take screen recording videos without any additional software needed. To do this, you must first enable the Screen Recording function by adding it to your Control Center (in Settings). Then, you will be able to quickly record your screen to troubleshoot or to show your students how to perform a simple task!
How to take a Screenshot on the iPad
To take a screenshot on your iPad, simple press the home button and the power button at the same time.
The Chromebook
