Title I Information
Bio: Mrs. Ebserole has been a reading specialist at Canadochly Elementary since 2024. She has her Masters Degree in language and literacy from Millersville University. She primarily works with students in kindergarten, first, and second grades to develop reading and writing skills. When not at school, Mrs. Ebersole loves to go on adventures with her family to the beach, get lost in a good book, garden, and bake sweet treats.
Bio: Mrs. Hedges has been a reading specialist at Canadochly since 2008. She earned her Master's Degree in Reading from Penn State University. Mrs. Hedges primarily works with students in third, fourth, and fifth grades to build and strengthen their reading and writing skills. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Hedges loves to watch her three daughters shine and grow, go for long walks, read, and relax at the beach.
Each year, Title I teachers and supporting staff prepare an event for Title I families. At this event, they discuss the background of Title I, explain assessments, share reading and writing strategies to use at home, ask for feedback on building policies and compacts, and prepare activities for Title I families that include book and game distribution.
