Change of Address
When you originally registered your child/children in Eastern York School District (EYSD), you were required to provide proof of your residency. If your residency should change, for any reason, it is your responsibility as the resident to notify EYSD and to provide proof of residency as required by the school district.
If you or your child has moved or will be moving anytime to a different location within EYSD, you must immediately notify your child's school regarding your current address and continued eligibility to attend EYSD. You must provide to EYSD two (2) proofs of residency, one of which must be associated with the property, with your name and the new address. Failure to do so may result in your child's withdrawal from school and legal proceedings against you to recover tuition. Acceptable proofs of residency include:
Current Driver's License or DOT Identification Card
Deed
Rental Lease
Property Tax Bill
Current Utility Bill (gas, electric, water or cable)
Please be aware that your child's address and bus transportation cannot be changed until new proof of residency is received and verified.
You may also contact the Administration Center to make arrangements to provide the two (2) forms of proof of residency.
