Title I Information
Meet the Teachers
Kelly Townsley
Bio: Ms. Townsley is a reading specialist who works with students in grades two through five. Her focus is on helping students improve their reading, writing, and language skills. She also coaches volleyball in high school. She has been teaching in the district since October 2002.
Jami Lavery
Bio: Mrs. Lavery is a reading specialist who works with students in kindergarten, first and second grades at Wrightsville Elementary. She loves to read and hopes to pass on this love to her students. She has been teaching in the district since January 2000.

Title I Family Event
Each year, Title I teachers and supporting staff prepare an event for Title I families. At this event, they discuss the background of Title I, explain assessments, share reading and writing strategies to use at home, ask for feedback on building policies and compacts, and prepare activities for Title I families that include book and game distribution.
