Canvas Parent enhances the potential for parents to engage in their children's education. Parents can review upcoming or past assignments, check on grades, and receive course announcements.
Skyward is still the official record for student grades. Grades from Canvas do transfer over to Skyward but all assignments might not be completed in Canvas. All assignments are recorded in Skyward and Skyward produces the official report card for all students. You should still rely on Skyward as the official class grade.
Parents can use the Canvas Parent app on all iOS and Android devices.
There is a web version that can be used on a desktop as well. The desktop version will allow you to add multiple students to your account. Directions on adding additional students to your account.

Your student will need to generate a pairing code with their Canvas account.
